Enjoy and experience our baby samples, and let us make parenthood a little easier, one sample at a time.

Hot days, melty snacks, surprise diaper blowouts… summer with a baby or toddler is a whole vibe. But when your diaper bag is prepped right, you can handle anything from a sticky ice cream meltdown to a sudden nap-on-the-go.

Here’s your go-to guide for what to pack in your summer diaper bag, so you’re always ready for sunshine, sweat, and everything in between

1. The Basics (Still Essential!)

No matter the season, these items are your year-round MVPs:

  1. Diapers (1 for every hour out, just in case)
  2. Wipes (lots!)
  3. Diaper cream
  4. Extra outfit (maybe two if you’re going far!)
  5. Snack container or pouch
  6. Sippy cup or bottle

2. Sun Protection Must-Haves

  1. Baby-safe sunscreen (SPF 30+, mineral-based)
  2. Wide-brimmed hat with chin strap
  3. Sunglasses (toddler version with strap if needed)
  4. Light muslin blanket for instant shade or stroller cover

3. Stay-Cool Essentials

Cooling wipes or washcloth

– Insulated bottle/snack holder to keep drinks/milk cold

– Small fan (clip-on for stroller or handheld)

– Hydration reminder note for you too! Stay hydrated, mama!

4. Outdoor Add-Ons

– Bug spray (baby-safe or natural repellent)

– Travel-size first aid kit (band-aids, sting relief, thermometer)

– Mini bubble wand or toys for entertainment in the shade

–  Lightweight stroller shade extender or umbrella

Bonus: Create a “Just-in-Case Pouch”

Keep a small zip pouch packed with:

  • A pacifier
  • A teether
  • A few bandaids
  • Tiny tube of diaper cream (like the ones that come in our new sample bags!) ● Mini sunscreen
  • Emergency $10 or tap card
  • BabyBrands Free Sample Bag

You’ll thank yourself later!

Your summer diaper bag doesn’t have to be bursting at the seams, but it should help you feel prepped, not panicked. With a few seasonal swaps and sunny-day add-ons, you can head out with confidence knowing you’ve got your bases (and your baby) covered.
